The Rodents Come to Me
Brooklyn, NY
(Shokufeh, stop reading now.)
So I've been too busy rodent wrangling to blog. Today I liberated a squirrel from an office at work. Friday night I liberated two mice from my apartment.
And of course, just now while I way lying here on my bed, minding my own business, ready to go to sleep, I heard a rustling.
Mouse number three is hanging out behind my bookcase.
READY FOR A FREAKING VACATION.

I couldn't help myself.
Aaaaghh! I'm so sorry. May your sojourn in New Orleans be rodent free.
As a kid I heard my mom scream. I found her in the bathroom with a tiny mouse trapped in the tub. She'd decided to drown it. I begged for it, promising to release it blocks away.
I kept it until it escaped again and I had to relocate it in the woods.
